Compare the delivered appliance quote, not only its headline
A fictional quote comparison shows how delivery and removal can change the apparent price order. Compare the same defined service scope.
Updated:

Compare the same scope before comparing the total
A lower appliance headline can be paired with a higher delivered total. Consider fictional offerA: AUD 1000 for the appliance,AUD 100 delivery andAUD50 removal. Its stated total isAUD1150. Fictional offerB isAUD1100 including those same listed services. Under these deliberately simplified assumptions,B isAUD50 lower even though its headline isAUD100 higher. No number here is a current market price, supplier quote or typical charge. The example shows why scope must be aligned before a price ranking is useful.

Ask what delivered actually means in the offer
A delivery description may leave important practical questions unanswered. Confirm the intended destination, access conditions, handling of packaging, old-appliance removal and whether any connection service is included. Do not assume that one supplier's use of a term matches another's. Record the written answer next to the amount so the comparison remains understandable later. If a service is not confirmed, mark it unresolved instead of entering zero; a blank scope field should not make an offer look artificially cheaper.
Use official pricing guidance as context
The ACCC price-display guidance explains that total prices must include taxes and unavoidable or preselected fees, and that pricing should be clear before purchase. That context supports asking for a complete, understandable offer. It does not let this article judge an individual seller's compliance from a partial screenshot. Save the full terms and seek clarification of any material ambiguity. The purpose of the comparison is to understand what you would receive and pay, not to infer a legal conclusion from a missing line in your own notes.
Keep model identity and physical access in view
The refrigerator photograph shows a different model from the specification examples elsewhere on this site. A generic sales image cannot confirm the exact appliance in a quote. The front-loader photograph also makes an open door visible, reminding us that final-position fit and access are separate from the price. Match the complete model description and applicable dimensions before spending time comparing a delivery total for a unit that does not meet the practical requirements.

An included service still needs an applicable definition
The open dishwasher photograph illustrates how an appliance occupies space while being used; it does not establish the services required at another home. If an offer includes installation, obtain the applicable scope and conditions rather than assuming all site work is covered. This guide does not provide connection instructions or approve any arrangement. Keep any separately required work visible in the comparison, and obtain suitable professional assessment where the exact installation requires it. A bundled word is not a substitute for a clear service description.

Preserve the comparison date and the unresolved items
Once the scope is aligned, compare totals and record when the offer was obtained and any stated validity conditions. A later change in model, destination or included service can invalidate the earlier comparison. Keep the fictional arithmetic separate from actual quotes you collect. Space & Cycle does not publish live prices for these appliances. The useful outcome is a current, inspectable record of model, services, total and unanswered conditions that allows a purchase decision without relying on the most prominent number alone.
